Edward Joseph Jaros, age 87, of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, passed away on February 19, 2023. Ed was born on April 5, 1935 to Aloice and Marie (Snider) Jaros.
Ed graduated from Loretto High School in 1954. He married Deanna (Staeck) Jaros in 1965; they later divorced. Ed retired from the City of Sault Ste. Marie after a long career as a police officer.
Ed is survived by his daughter, Linda (Steve Odden) of Stevens Point, Wisconsin; two grandsons, Jack and Michael Odden, and a sister, Connie (Jeff Drake) Jaros Drake.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Albert.
The family would like to thank all of Ed’s caregivers, especially those from Medilodge and McLaren Hospice.
