Shirley Mae (Gordon) Porcaro, 86, of Sault Ste. Marie, MI passed away Monday July 25, 2022 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. She was born August 25, 1935 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI to James and Olive (Bergeron) Gordon.
Some of Shirley's happiest moments were spent playing Bingo and playing cards with her grandchildren. She was also a member of the Christopher Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
Shirley is survived by her son, James "Jay" (Melanie) Porcaro; daughters, Janice Porcaro and Jenette Porcaro (Chuck) Miller; grandchildren, Jennifer Miller (Michael) Helms, Jacob (Sarah) Miller; great grandchildren, Ava, Hailee, Gabriella, and Cassandra.
Shirley is predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Porcaro; parents, James and Olive Gordon; siblings, James and Connie.
Visitation will be Saturday July 30, 2022 from 9:00am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1101 Minneapolis St. Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783, with Father Bradley Sjoquist officiating. Final resting place will be Oaklawn Chapel Gardens. Clark Hovie Galer Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
