INDIAN RIVER - The Sault High boys golf team was a 20-stroke winner over the next best team to win the six-team Chuck Palmer Memorial Invitational Saturday at the Indian River Golf Club.

The Sault landed four players in the top 10. Ryan TenEyck and Carson Kronemeyer led with 82s, missing medalist honors by one stroke.

Easton Fitzner was fifth with an 84, and Odin Medrick tied for sixth with an 88.

TenEyck closed out his round with three straight pars, while Kronemeyer parred three of his last five holes to stay in contention. Fitzner parred seven of his last eight holes.

Devin Goetz carded a 94, and Quinten Etcher a 113.

The Blue Devils are scheduled to play Monday at Hessel.
