SUMMER SEASON DELIVERY / WAREHOUSE PERSON
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Safely provide excellent customer service through the delivery, pickup,
care, and service of furniture, appliances and other home furnishings
• Demonstrate professionalism, confidence, safety protocols and a
positive attitude while working in our customers’ homes
• Maintain, clean, and supply the delivery trucks
• Organize and manage time independently
YOU WILL BRING:
• First and foremost, a positive, friendly and upbeat attitude
• Previous moving experience is an asset but not mandatory
• Valid work permit for non-residents
• Valid driver’s license is mandatory
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy furniture. Lifting aids
provided.
• Knowledge and experience with furniture assembly an asset, but not
mandatory
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Lifting is a strenuous and physically demanding position. Delivery / warehouse persons must
be capable of bending and lifting heavy furniture and appliances.
Starting wage is $20 per hour plus term bonus, benefits and the potential for extra earning
opportunities. This is a summer position with the potential for long term.
