In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, MyMichigan Medical Center Sault is hosting its 10th annual Mental Health Mile Walk & 5K Run on Saturday, June 1, 2024. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., with the run starting at 9 a.m. and the mile walk starting at 10:30 a.m., both on the campus of MyMichigan Medical Center Sault located at 500 Osborn Boulevard.
Participants are encouraged to wear green to show support for mental health awareness. Strollers and pets on leashes are welcome during this family-friendly event, and there will be a bounce house (weather permitting) and other activities for families to enjoy. Prizes will be awarded for a variety of categories, and light refreshments for participants will be available following the race.
The cost for the 5K run is $25 prior to May 17, 2024 and includes a T-shirt. Registration after May 17 is $30. The mile walk is free. Those who would like to register may visit www.mymichigan.org/mentalhealthmile.
