If you love Cessna airplanes, here is your chance to check out several of them Wednesday afternoon in Sault Ste. Marie.
The 54th Annual Convention of the International Cessna 170 Association open house will be held on Wednesday, July 19th, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Sanderson Field Airport on Meridian Drive.
The event is free and open to the public.
You will have the opportunity to see a variety of Cessna 170s, both restored and in original condition. In addition, there will be opportunities to meet other Cessna 170 enthusiasts and learn more about the aircraft.
The open house is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in aviation or the Cessna 170. It is also a great way to learn more about the International Cessna 170 Association and its mission to preserve and promote the Cessna 170.
Members of the TIC170A are spending the week in the Eastern U.P. visiting several attractions.

The International Cessna 170 Association (TIC170A) was formed in 1969. They have more than 1034 members that own a total of 821 Cessna 170s.
Preserving and promoting a truly classic aircraft takes time, talent, and resources. It took foresight to form the association back in 1969 to share information about flying and maintaining the Cessna 170. Many hours have been spent by members gathering data and sharing information by way of publications, at conventions, during fly-ins, and on the internet forums.
