The storm sweeping over the Upper Peninsula this evening led to restrictions on the I-75 at the Mackinac Bridge.
Those restrictions were lifted before 10 p.m.
The Michigan Department of Transportation was advising of a partial bridge closure due to high winds earlier today.
No high-profile vehicles were allowed, MDOT said as of around 7 p.m. Tuesday. Only cars, vans, and empty pickups were allowed to cross for about three hours.
An intense low pressure system is bringing an early spring storm to Wisconsin, Michigan and areas to the east and is expected to continue into Wednesday evening.
