SAULT CITY YOUTH WRESTLING

Sault City Youth Wrestling opened their season with a North East Michigan Wrestling Association pre-season tournament in Meridian.
The tournament hosted almost 800 wrestlers, with some of the best wrestlers in the state, and more than double the number competitors will see at a tournament until state finals.
NEMWA - Pre-season results:
Case Kroeger 2-2 (DNP), Travis Pyle (0-2), Payne Kroeger 3-2 (4th), Atlas Kroeger 4-1 (3rd), Levi Hudson 2-2 (DNP), Guy Pyle III 0-2 (DNP), Jackson Minta 0-2 (DNP), Drew Burtt 5-1 (3rd), Carson Browning 3-1 (2nd), Hazen Hudson 1-2 (4th), and Kane Savoie 2-2 (DNP).
The wrestling club's annual Burger Bash is being held at the Elk’s Lodge on Tuesday, Jan. 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals are $9 and include a burger and fries. Eat in or take it to go.
