Raymond Thomas Durnez Jr., age 48, of Rudyard, Michigan, died on December 27, 2023, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, Michigan. He was born on May 7, 1975, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to Raymond Sr. and Teresa (Pearson) Durnez.
Raymond attended Cedar Springs High School and graduated with the Class of 1993. After graduation, he attended the Kent Career Center in Grand Rapids before going to truck driving school where he earned his certification. After obtaining his commercial driver’s license he drove both semi and tow trucks.
Raymond enjoyed hunting with his bow and arrow and going fishing. He also loved his dogs.
Raymond is survived by his mother, Teresa Durnez; and sister, Felicia (Michael) Woroniecki; nephews, Tristan Durnez, and Payten Durnez.
Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Durnez Sr., and grandmother, Pearl Pearson.
