On Monday, April 29, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson will join Mackinac Island Mayor Margaret Doud and community leaders for a ribbon-cutting ceremony launching the state’s seventh Secretary of State mobile office. This mobile office will serve the Upper Peninsula and will be ferried to the island from St. Ignace Monday morning.

Secretary of State mobile offices bring services directly to Michiganders in communities around the state. They are hosted by local organizations for community residents with limited transportation or internet access.

The UP mobile office will be on the island open to serve residents and employees of Mackinac Island businesses Monday, April 29 through Wednesday, May 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
