Gusty east winds as high as 20 to 30 mph, combined with dry and warm conditions will lead to elevated wildfire potential Tuesday afternoon and evening across most of the Upper Peninsula.
Locally higher wind gusts up to 35 mph are possible.
Avoid outdoor burning. Immediately report any wildfires to local emergency services by calling 911.
