Travis Lee Andress, age 50, of Plantation, Florida, died on February 4, 2024. He was born on January 18, 1974, in St. Ignace, Michigan, to Carl and Cora (Gugin) Andress.

Travis grew up in Cedarville, Michigan, and graduated with the Class of 1992. He moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, right after graduation and began working in the construction trades field. He met Natasha Enslin, and they married on December 31, 1999, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Travis went on to get his State of Florida’s Contractors License and became a certified craftsman and furniture builder. He started his own business at the age of 26, called, Andress Custom Interiors, Inc. Travis was an extremely hard worker and worked on many projects in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Travis was a member of 4-H growing up and was a member of the Carpenter’s Union in Ft. Lauderdale before owning Andress Custom Interiors Inc.

Travis loved to read, play basketball, chess, and go ice fishing. He enjoyed woodworking, cabinetry, construction and building furniture, but his passion was to make people laugh and spend time with friends in conversation. Travis will always be remembered for the prankster he was.

Travis is survived by his wife, Natasha Andress; parents, Carl and Cora Andress; sisters, Annette Sheber and Melissa (David) Schumacher; brothers, David Andress and Carl Andress; nieces and nephews, Carl, Gianna, Harlie, Jodi, Kailee, Lakota, Cheyanne; father and mother-in-law, Nelson and Natalie Enslin; sisters-in-law, Nicole (Jeff) Chaffee and Nadia Enslin; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who will all miss him dearly.

Travis was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lawrence, and Theresa Gugin; and paternal grandparents, John and Lillian Romano.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made, in his name, to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
