Age 92, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024. Michael is survived by his wife, Ellen, children: Brian (Sara) Dempsey, Christopher Dempsey, and Thomas (Toshie) Dempsey; grandchildren: Colleen Dempsey and Jake (Dani) Dempsey; and brother, Patrick (Peggy) Dempsey.
Visitation will be held on March 4, 2024, from 4-8pm at COATS FUNERAL HOME. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Benedict's Catholic Church on March 5, at 10:00am. Michael will be interred at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Donations may be made to the Soo Theatre, 534 Ashmun St, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783.
